Autumn, a time of year I love and hate.
I love it because it's beautiful, so nice to see and feel.
I hate it because it means I'll be frozen for the next 6 -7 months !!
This soundtrack is about the change from Summer to Autumn so I used lots of wind instruments to represent the gentle breeze that blows the leaves from the trees.

I was explaining to a friend online how I record music as they wanted to know, so I fired up my music pc and showed them a basic MIDI grid in 3/4 timing and programmed a simple line using a harp. Then the melody for the flute formed in my mind so I recorded that too, then the simple harmony on a vibrato flute and it worked nicely so I keyed in the 2nd harp line and built the next section over that introducing a cello and a violin to add a little more bass and midrange body to the song.
Then I repeated the initial melody with a piano and double bass to add even more layers with extra strings but still keeping the initial tune overlaying a piano part that drifts along and going full circle to the harp again before finishing.
