Recorded using my new Fractal Audio AXE FX II guitar effect unit run into a yamaha 01v96 mixing desk into a M audio 192 audiophile soundcard and recorded using steinberg nuendo 4, eastwest vsts, Korg legacycell VST Stylus RMX drumloops and addictive drums using Ibanez Jem 7VWH and Status Graphite Kingbass artist guitars.
This was an idea I had while watching the leaves fall on a grey cloudy day here in England.
I played around with a few ideas keeping it laid back and relaxing then I thought halfway through what sort of weather conditions might exist on other planets, how turbulent / destructive they could be so I kept the same basic melody, just made it much heavier and gave it a lot more energy in the sounds I used but still opting for a slower more structured melody instead of a fast non-directional solo.
