Recorded using my new Fractal Audio AXE FX II guitar effect unit run into a yamaha 01v96 mixing desk into a M audio 192 audiophile soundcard and recorded using steinberg nuendo 4, eastwest vsts, artistgrooves drums and Ibanez Jem 7VWH and Status Graphite Kingbass artist guitars.
Just a fun soundtrack I threw together based on a simple riff + drumbeat with a few chorus notes thrown in to help it along on its way and everything else just fell into place. Found 4 tones I loved on the Axe FX II for bass guitar, rhythm guitar, screaming lead and mellow lead and played solo after solo until I picked out the best takes and put them together. Finished off with my trademark over the top MIDI melodies but I've always been huge on cello, violins and harp. Wish I could play them for real ! Maybe some day !
