The challenge here was to limit myself to a simple bass line, to build a complete song over 4 bassnotes only and a 4 bar drumloop. So I tried to use as many synths, pads, layers, pianos and guitars to distract from simpilicity of it all.
I learned a lot from this. It's surprising just how far 4 bassnotes and a drumloop will get you !
I kept a basic melody too but made a more diverse electric guitar section and finished off with rain and thunder - also 2 simple elements which can make a huge variation in sound / speed / volume.
