Recorded using a Fractal Audio AXE FX II guitar effect unit run into a yamaha 01v96 mixing desk into a M audio 192 audiophile soundcard and recorded using steinberg nuendo 4, eastwest vsts, and addictive drums using Ibanez Jem 7VWH and Status Graphite Kingbass artist guitars.
Had great fun making this track. 6/8 is a whacky time signature. Sounds like someone falling up a staircase while trying not to spill a hot drink at the same time. Halfway through switches to a more managable 3/4. Just a whole bunch of chaotic MIDI reallly. Double bass, harp and piano are all playing the same melody but at different octaves. A couple of trumpet blasts with violins and cellos bringing the chorus together. Parts 1+2 are repeated again before breaking into more mainstream 3/4 guitar based music with only a cello until the 6/8 chorus comes back again this time in 3/4 but with additional guitar solos.
