As this big ball of water, land and life floats in the middle of empty space people of all shapes, sizes, colours created languages, technology and of course instruments. I've always loved world music and amazed at the earliest incarnations of the instruments we use today. Essentially we were all, and still all are tribes.
To reflect this I start out using basic and primitive instruments mixed with the most basic but essential element of life - water. Building upon this with tribal drums and from 1 primitive stringed instrument to a more modern one ( violin ) I then padded it out with a salt shaker, another primtive percussion that is still used today in 2011 ! Then just like life and the people that walked this world before us the instruments too evolve and change into the modern ones they are today.
If only over time humans had blended so harmoniously !
